Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Garrubbo Guide (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates garrubbo.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the details you share when you request a tour, tasting, dinner or trip-planning service (such as preferred dates, number of guests, where you are staying, dietary needs and notes about your trip); your email address when you sign up for our newsletter; and payment information when you pay for a confirmed experience or service.

Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your requests, plan and confirm experiences and trips, process payments, send the newsletter only if you have signed up, and understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve it.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and usage. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics or disable cookies through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third parties to operate our Site, including Mailchimp for our email newsletter (shared with Sunday Pasta), Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam, SMTP2GO to deliver the emails our Site sends, our payment processor for confirmed bookings, and Google Analytics for traffic insights. Books are sold through the Sunday Pasta shop (Shopify) and Amazon, which handle your purchase under their own policies. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Requests sent through our forms are stored securely on our Site so we can reply and plan your experience. We keep this information only as long as needed for that purpose and for our business and legal records. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@garrubbo.com.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
