Lievito’s signature dish is the pizza, which is presented in 22 variations. The menu is rounded out with salads, pastas, appetizers, and a nice wine list.
Bravo! A great addition to the NYC pizzeria scene. The chef, formerly of Bice, makes excellent pizza, salads, and antipasti. Casual, but warm, atmosphere. The sformatina die carciofi was excellent. As are all the pizza.
Great Addition to the neighborhood, I’ve been there four times already.
My kids LOVE the pizza there, I’ve personally never tasted such a light pizza .
The Pappa al Pomodoro which is a traditional old tuscan dish is spectacular.
I already know everybody there, the crew is all Italian mainly from Tuscany including the Chef which has never worked in Bice but he previously worked at the Fat Duck in London.

Best italian food around. These guys really serve out authentic dishes. It has a cool, calm rustic feel to it, but still a chill downtown nyc restaurant. The dessert was my favorite part. I think when a restaurant can have everything going for them, including the dessert they will flourish. Get the chocolate chestnut cake. Thanks to an awesome addition. Keep up the fantastic work!
