    Bravo! I Sodi delivers excellent food in a small, intimate, casual space in the West Village. The menu isn’t large, offering just a few antipasti, primi, and secondi. Rita Sodi, a Florentine, presides over the restaurant. There is an excellent list of negroni to start off. The cold shaved carciofi and parmesan was excellent, with just the right amount of olive oil, and enough pepper to give a kick. The spaghetti with peperoncino and percorino (which typically aren’t combined) was excellent. The orechiette with pancetta and broccoli was superb. The veal milanese, topped with arugula was perfectly dressed. The flourless chocolate cake with straciatella gelato was good (not great). The espresso was good. An excellent, casual new restaurant.
