A perfect corner spot in the East Village, on East 12th Street and First Avenue, where owners created a brand new space that was their vision of the dream restaurant: they put in a reclaimed-hardwood floor from a 250-year-old home in Maine, handblown-glass lighting fixtures, antique mirrors, a marble bar, and Gascon Stua armchairs.
This offers guests a panoramic view of the East Village life, through a floor-to-ceiling glass façade. It’s magical and intimate, vibrant and bustling with la vita è bella.
They use local organic and biodynamic farms for their produce, dairy products and meats. The fish comes from the Mediterranean Sea as well as local sources, using sustainable, traditional fishing methods.
