Ciao amici,

As we draw a close to the holiday season, we once again are reminded of precious reminiscences made through special time with family and friends.  For me, many fond food memories come to mind.  Like many Italian families, I have learned numerous traditions from our time together, but most importantly learned the art of handed-down generation to generation recipes from my grandmother. 

I’ve dedicated myself through my passion and love for those people, recipes and cooking to share the experiences with you through my blog (  Food has always been the center of the Italian experience.  Each generation of parents, children and grandchildren pass on their cultural traditions, as well as values in addition to the treasured family recipes.

My mission is to promote the experience of authentic Italian cuisine through love, life and laughter around the table. Italian food has the power to bring people together, rich and poor, family and friends, Italians and non-Italians. Italian food makes people forget themselves and escape into the experience — into the convivialità, into the sharing.
