Edwin Garrubbo, Founder

He cooks a wide range of Italian dishes and visits restaurants, cooking schools, markets, and food artisans across Italy, and wherever Italians practice their craft. He is a member of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, a cultural institution of the Italian government, and is a citizen of both the United States and Italy.

Donna M. Picciocchi, Chief Editor:

Donna M. Picciocchi grew up in an Italian household. Her earliest memories of Italian cuisine date back to a very young age when she would help her great-grandmother make homemade pasta. From her early pasta-making days until today, Donna has always been extremely interested in Italian culture and cuisine. Donna holds a masters degree in Communication Leadership and an undergraduate degree in English/Professional Writing. She loves the creative outlet that The Garrubbo Guide allows and the opportunity it provides to make use of her passions: Italian culture and communications. The Garrubbo Guide is the perfect blend of her education and fervor. Donna travels to Italy often and is looking forward to her next adventure on Italian soil, as well as documenting all her finds so that the world can enjoy. Contact her at
